Windows 10: Windows 10 Administrator status

How do I sign in to windows 10 as administrator? I sign in as a local user and administrator, but when I try to delete my old HP printer driver I get a message that says "Must be administrator to delete this app." Makes no sense to me but I cannot install the new software until I uninstall the old so have to figure out how to sign in as "administrator" in order to solve this problem. Printer will not work without new software installation.

Administrative privilges lost after upgrading to Windows 10

• Which was the host operating system on your device?
• How did you attempt to change the settings and from where?
• Were you using administrator account/ standard account?

I suggest you to enable the Built-in administrator account and check if the issue persists.

Steps to: Enable Built-in administrator.

• Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
  
• Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open
  Command Prompt.
• Type the following command and hit Enter:
• net user administrator /active: yes
  (Check for the spaces)
• Now log off from the current user and try to login to the administrator account that is enabled.
  

Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done.

• Is this issue confined only to the specific game?

Step 1: I suggest you to check the number of user accounts created on your laptop and also to ascertain the administrator account.

• Press Windows + R key together on your desktop screen.
• Type netplwiz and hit Enter.

Step 2: Enable Built-in administrator.

I suggest you to enable built-in administrator account, try to log-in with that account and access the game to check if there is any issues with the current user account.

• Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
• Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open
  Command Prompt.
