    Hello,
    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Ultimate on my Dell Studio 1749 Laptop. I am currently running Office 2010. My issue is that when I download and try to open protected documents sent as email attachments, Word 2010 will not open them once they download. I have no problem opening documents that are not protect enabled. Any suggestions here? Most of my work documents come as protect enabled Word docs.

    Office 2010 not printing in windows 10

    Same here, nothing at all happens when I click on print in WORD 2010 in Windows 10.

    Can print from a PDF program no problem. Word 2010 will not print to my HP

    Plugged in a Canon 270 printer - works fine.

    HP issue on Windows 10... come on MS and HP knock heads together and fix it!

    I have attempted to download any updates, but at this point the link for updates for Word 2010 (in Help under File) points to an outdated page. Windows Update in WIndows 10 is apparently spinning it's wheels with a series of dots traveling across the screen. I am at a loss as to how to check for updates for Office/Word 2010.

    You could try uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2010 followed by immediately checking for updates. Make sure you check Give Me Updates For Other Microsoft Products under Advanced Options in Windows Update.

    Maybe add the folder location of your documents as a trusted location so that the document would not be protected?

    File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations

    Be sure to check out the other settings in the Trust Center too..
