    Windows 10 Anniversary - wifi problems


    It is more of finding out what works for you if the install default is not the best. I would purchase inSSIDer to have on the laptop, so that when you run into connection problems, you can find out where the interference is. If you travel and get low signal, it may be best to use a USB Dongle with an External Antenna or a USB Male to Female extension to allow you to move the Dongle to best signal location.

    I know about signal strength and interference. (I design and install wireless networks, including campus networks.)

    Backup and security wireless cameras were turned off. That's not the problem.

    I spoke with AVG. They said that there's some new requirements with this Windoze update that they don't quite understand yet. Removing and reinstalling AVG usually works, though. Haven't had time to do that yet.
