Windows 10: windows 10 audio "hands free" issue

Every time I connect my laptop to a bluetooth audio device it cuts out after a couple seconds to a around a minute sometimes. If I switch my output to the "hands free" selection in bluetooth for the same headset, arctis 9x it will work again. However, the audio played from the "hands free" version is terrible. I've tried this on my air pod pros as well and encountered the same problem. I switch back to the default or stereo version and there is no audio. I've tried disabling the hands free device in device manager and/or updating them. It says there are no updates available. I've repaired them both numerous times and no luck. Any idea on how to fix this? My laptop is a Razer Blade 15.

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
