Windows 10: Windows 10 Audio Issue

Lately, I've been having an issue with my audio on my PC. Whenever I join a Discord voice channel, private call, stream, or view a stream my audio on my PC stops rendering, I won't be able to hear audio form Chrome, my game, or even Discord. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Discord several times while also deleting Discord files in %AppData% and %LocalAppData%. I have to wait until my speaker icon shows a red-X and allow the troubleshooter to fix my issue and give me audio. This has been very irritating lately. I used to have a virtual audio cable and voice meter banana a few months ago when this all started but I removed them long ago when this issue started and have been good since.

If anyone has any tips on how to fix this it'd be greatly appreciated! I made sure I'm on the latest windows update but I don't know why else this would be happening.

If the issue persists, you may update the chipset drivers for your PC and check if it works.

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
