  1. Windows 10 Audio problems... driving me crazy! Please help?

Hello, I've been having trouble with audio on my PC, especially while using Skype. It started with Skype locking up to where I couldn't type and lost my audio on a call. But it's not just on Skype, it's computer wide. I tried to open up the Sound tab in control panel and play a test sound through the speakers and got this warning:

    Audio Service Not Running

This computer cannot play audio because the Windows Audio Service is not enabled. Would you like to enable the Windows Audio Service?

I clicked OK, but still no sound anywhere. Skype unfroze, could type for 30 secs, then locked up again. Couldn't change users, nor type.

Tried troubleshooting the problem in a few ways. First by restarting windows audio services in services.msc. Then I reinstalled my audio drivers. Then, I used the System File Checker Tool to Restorehealth, and of course rebooted. I thought everything was ok, but I just updated Skype and the problem is still happening. But this time I got a windows diagnostic Troubleshooting Report pop up that said:

    Issues found

One or more audio service isn't running

It auto fixed (says "Fixed") but it still doesn't work. I use a Plantronics Savi headset. How can I fix this issue?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
