Windows 10: Windows 10 Audio Troubleshooting

Hello r/Windows10!

Need help with troubleshooting audio issues on my PC. Just assembled it but I am running into an issue with the audio. No input devices are detected tried with multiple headsets. The only on that works is a Corsair wireless headset that I've plugged into the back of the PC. but although it works and I can hear the volume does not seem to be at the highest and I also hear static which seems to be louder.

I've gone to device manager -> sound video and game controls and updated the drivers multiple time. As well as gone to the troubleshoot settings and gone through the virtual agent to which the agent prompts me that their is no input device

Really would love some feed back please and thank you too whom ever is willing to lend help!

Can not record audio.

Hi,

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Let us know if you need further help.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
