  1. Windows 10 August 2020 update and intel network card.

Since the August 2020 update to 1904, I cannot get my computer to connect with my router directly. I have two computers and my wifi orbi mesh router is wired via cat5 to my older one. I was running Avast VPN which installs a virtual secure network card.

Since the August 2020 I cannot get my main computer to work off of my network and get the ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED error. I uninstalled my VPN and my old computer connects both with the Orbi via cable and my network Lan. My newer i7 with intel r 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection will no longer connect with my LAN. I can get it to connect via the cable to the Orbi but not my cabled network. I have used cat5 and cat8 cables, both of which work with my older system, used the troubleshooter a couple dozen times, reset the router, uninstalled and reinstalled ALL of my network adapter settings and followed all of the help videos with no luck. When I go into roll back the update it did not give me an option to undo it or roll back to a previous version. I don't feel like wiping the system and reinstalling since even that may not work. I tried contacting support a couple of times but the AI just says they have issues contacting an agent.

    Anyone else have any Ideas?

    :)
