Windows 10: Windows 10 Automatic Maintenance running at wrong time

Why does it run at 2:35 PM when set to run at 2:00 AM?
The computer was on and logged in all night, every night.

Yet something else to add to my list that is difficult if not impossible to control.

Customer Improvement Program - Disable it, but with a feature update, Windows automatically re-enables it.

Windows Telemetry - Same thing. Why is it scanning my confidential documents. Runs whenever it wants.

Windows Updates - Yes you can control when they are "installed" but scanning for updates and downloading them in the background runs whenever it wants, usually in the middle of the afternoon when people are working hard trying to get some work done. It runs the disk i/o near 100% for 20 minutes the computer is mostly inoperable.
Microsoft Office Updates - same thing. Runs on its own schedule, separate from Windows Updates, not mine.
Scheduled Maintenance - Defrag - runs at 2:30 PM instead of 2:30 AM.


My laptop was off for a few days, as I dash to the airport and check in with just enough time to send a couple of important emails before boarding, my laptop starts its "Maintenance Madness". 20 Minutes later the disk i/o drops below 98% and I can finally work, but.....they just called for boarding....

PLEASE LET ME HAVE MY WAY WITH MAINTENANCE After all, its MY PC, not Microsoft's

Can I have a tray icon for automatic maintenance windows 10

On windows 8.1 it did always a windows defender scan with automatic maintenance, since I'm using defender on this 10 laptop, I think it will scan on this laptop as well when it does maintenance.

The weird thing is, I have set the automatic maintenance at 12.00 since I have lunch at that time but it didn't run yet today ... Or perhaps it doesn't run everyday like on windows 8.1?

(I did set the windows module installer service to manual though but I don't think it has anything to do with this maintenance)

If you only use an SSD, this maintenance would probably won’t give you anything benefits anyway, the TRIM commands are part of disk optimization tool, and that can be scheduled separately.
