  1. Windows 10 black screen after update yesterday. Help!

I am in the "safe mode" on my Windows PC right now. When I try to start my PC in "normal mode" there is just a black screen and my mouse. To walk you through what I can see exactly when I boot-up my PC:

    1. My PC Logo
    2. The Log-In Screen
    3. A black desktop (no task-bar, no Windows symbol at the bottom left, only my mouse is visible!)
    4. A "personal settings" window that is bugged out (the typical "XXXX.exe" stopped working)

I can start the Task-Manager but there is no "Windows explorer" that I could restart. Some people had that suggestion online but there wasn't anything like that in normal mode. I can see the Windows-Explorer Task in the "Safe Mode" right now but not in the "Normal mode". I don't know what is going on.

There was also the suggestion that I could uninstall the windows update. The problem is that the "Windows Update" window/program is loading forever (No joke, this is not going to work here. Loading since an hour or so). I don't know if that has something to do with the "Safe Mode" that I'm in right now but it wouldn't work on normal mode since I couldn't go there in the first place.

And just to make this clear: I am 99% sure that it has something to do with the Windows update yesterday. It would be INSANE coincidence if there is another random reason for it. I paused updates for the max-amount of days and now that I make them it suddenly destroys my PC. Cool shit.

EDIT: Problem is still there but I think I can circle it in a bt further. My Windows Explorer Doesn‘t start for some reason. Whenever I try to start it with the task manager the typical „XXX.exe stopped working“ appears. I also found out that this „personal settings“ thing has something to do wth the windows explorer. I feel like when K can somehow start that the Pc should work fine again. As I said that‘s the thing that works in safe mode but not in normal mode for some reason

EDIT 2: Ok the problem is solved but I feel like I should say how I did it because this is a problem to come for a lot when they do the update. I pretty much just uninstalled the Quality Update. You can do that like this:

Ctrl+Alt+Del —> Hold Shift and (while holding shift) press „Restart“ —> keep holding shift until a new screen pops up —> Troubleshoot —> uninstall Updates —> Quality updates.

Will take a while to uninstall (10-15 minutes for me) but it works fine now. If that doesn‘t work you might wanna uninstall the feature update though I cannot assure that it will work.
