Windows 10: Windows 10 blue screen crashes Stop Code KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I've just tried to update my desktop pc from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Windows 10 keeps crashing with a blue screen message and the Stop Code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

This happened last weekend when I first installed Windows 10 and got to the point where Windows wouldn't even boot up. I reinstated my machine from a backup, which reverted to Windows 7, and all was well. This weekend I tried reinstalling Windows 10 and still it keeps crashing. It's not as bad as last weekend because it does boot up, but after a while, sometimes only a few minutes and sometimes after half an hour or so, I get the dreaded blue screen and also the fan inside the pc seems to be overworking, but only when the blue screen appears.

I assume from the title of your post Crash/Blue Screen that the PC has crashed and produced a *BSOD=[Blue Screen Of Death] =Blue Screen; and that the PC recovered from this; if and when you see the Blue Screen write the Stop Code down; recover the PC or use one that is working to access the net and look up the Stop Code.

nb: You may be able to view this with a [*BlueScreenView] application, google for this.

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen
of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one
table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the
date/time of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue
screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters), and the details of the driver
or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file
description, and file version).
For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of
the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane.
BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the
crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly
caused the crash.

Windows 10 KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED blue screen, happens daily.

The KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug check has a value of 0x0000001E. This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
