Windows 10: Windows 10 Bluetooth keeps disappearing and flashing in device manager/cannot connect to...

This is aggregated topic for Bluetooth troubles with Windows 10, I was struggling to fix for around 24 hours trying strange things

I were still struggling to get bluetooth to work, in addition what I have tried:

- Installing latest Intel drivers

- Downgrading drivers to Generic Bluetooth

- Restarting bluetooth service

- Scanning with DISM and SFC

- Troubleshooting bluetooth via Microsoft Troubleshooting tool



Case:

- You see only one entry for bluetooth (Generic Bluetooth/Intel Wireless Bluetooth) in Device Manager although your previous connection worked





- Above does not help, you are still unable to connect

- Device manager keeps refreshing but when you disable Bluetooth via Device Manager it stops


The fix:

- Go to BIOS, turn off bluetooth radio

- Start Windows and go to Device Manager (check if bluetooth is missing - correct)

- Go to BIOS, turn on bluetooth radio

- Start Windows, go to bluetooth settings and try to connect, your bluetooth should like below:

Device Manager keeps flashing / Bluetooth keeps disappearing

For my Dell's Bluetooth disappearing act, I have to go into device manager, click view then click show hidden files. The Bluetooth icon will comeback in device manager but it will still say its disconnected. I then reset the computer and enter the bios,
i'm not sure if this next step even does anything, but once in the bios i click on wireless and disable /save /enable /save both the wireless switch and wireless device enable boxes. Then exit the bios and go back into Windows. This has worked 100% of the
time. I've tried reinstalling drivers from both dell and the intel website and that almost never worked. Sometimes my Bluetooth would arbitrarily turn back on after a day or so. Its weird that it'll disconnect in windows but then i'll dual boot into Linux
and Bluetooth is fine.

 

Bluetooth disappeared from Device Manager

I have the same problem as Benjamin with an Acer Aspire Switch 10. Was working fine with Bluetooth speaker. Now all trace of Bluetooth has disappeared from Device Manager. The Bluetooth troubleshooter tells me my tablet is not compatible with bluetooth!
I have tried re-installing the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver from the Acer site but to no avail and tried most of the other suggestions including windows update listed in Benjamin's post.

Device Manager keeps flashing / Bluetooth keeps disappearing

My device manager keeps flickering and my bluetooth mouse quits working. Once this happens the bluetooth options in Windows settings disappears. Sometimes I get a yellow exclamation mark next

I've tried installing, uninstalling and reinstalling various drivers from both Intel's site and Dell's site but nothing works. It does this every time I have to re-install windows. I don't know why it keeps doing it and I haven't figured out yet what eventually
fixes it. When I got the computer new from Dell, I even had them replace the Bluetooth board in the computer because i thought it was a hardware problem. I also sent back the Logitech MX Master mouse and got a replacement after replacing the bluetooth board
didn't work but neither has permanently fixed the problem.

Is there anywhere that I can see a device log file to see why the bluetooth keeps crashing?
