    Windows 10 - BSOD from KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (Bugcheck Code: 0x139)


    My laptop has been experiencing BSODs for about a month, and I'm not sure where it's coming from. I've tried doing a re-install of Windows 10 on my laptop and even performed a complete factory reset on it to see no success. I've also played around with some drivers by disabling them but it doesn't fix the issue.


    I'm running Windows 10 Home (OS Build Version 18362.07).

    The KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE bug check indicates that the kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure. Most causes of this bug check tend to be self-explanatory and easy to diagnose. One exception is code
    3, LIST_ENTRY corruption. This type of bug check can be difficult to track down and indicates that an inconsistency has been introduced into a doubly-linked list (detected when an individual list entry element is added to or removed from the list). Unfortunately,
    the inconsistency is not necessarily detected at the time when the corruption occurred, so some detective work may be necessary to identify the root cause.

    KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

    My computer keeps crashing after opening photoshop and then firefox. I doubt its a virus or malware. I've ran WhoCrashed and i've gotten the following results from the minidumps. But they dont really explain much. I've tried googling the issues but haven't
    had much luck in pinpointing the root cause and fixing it. Any ideas?
