Windows 10: Windows 10 BSOD - lvrs64.sys

Hello.


In the past few days I've been experiencing a BSOD regarding the lvrs64.sys driver of Logitech error code: SYSTEM_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I have downloaded the latest driver related software from logitech which is probably the Logitech Camera Settings; but, is this the problem? I've done it also in the past and for a long time I didn't have any BSOD episodes. Why now? What else could it be? Any suggestions.

PC blue scree error Lvrs64.sys

I have a brand new Alien PC and I have got a blue screen of death twice now and its saying a stop code from windows cause by lvrs64.sys which I looked up and it says its my Logitech webcam system or driver. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Also the interface
for my camera is so tiny I can blow it up at all and can barley read the stuff in the box. Its likes it the wrong resolution on my 4k Dell.

Getting BSOD on Windows 10

One of the dump files pointed to the lvrs64.sys:

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: IP_MISALIGNED_lvrs64.sys

The lvrs64.sys us a Logitech webcam driver.

Try unplugging the camera and uninstall the drivers.

To use a webcam make sure the webcam has drivers that are known to be compatible with Windows 10.

The other error pointed to the ikbevent.sys:

BUCKET_ID: 0x1E_c0000005_R_ikbevent!Unknown_Function

The ikbevent.sys is an Intel keyboard driver so try updating that driver.

You could try the following utility from Intel:

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
