    Windows 10 BSOD, Ndu.sys

    Hello,

Hopefully anyone can help me out here. I was just browsing the internet and suddenly Windows crashed to a blue screen.

    Stop code: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

    What failed: Ndu.sys

I've had a search and it seems to point to a network driver but I've been using the computer all day so unsure why it suddenly would have crashed.

I have the minidump file which I can upload somewhere but it makes no sense to me when I look at it.

I've tried looking to see if there's any updates to the wi-fi driver and it reports from device manager that I'm up to date at the moment. I've also checked the Intel site for my specific wi-fi device and I'm on the latest version.

Anyone wise out there who can take a look and see if there's something obvious which I need to do to prevent this happening again?

    Thanks in advance!

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. wdf01000.sys and ntoskrnl.exe BSOD

    I'm on Windows 10, 64bit

Basically, whenever I try to update my LPC controller through Device Manager, BSOD with WDF_VIOLATION occurs (culprit being wdf01000.sys)

So I try to use the driver verifier to see which driver is causing the BSOD, but then it causes BSOD (cultprit being ntoskrnl.exe)

Have no idea which driver is causing them

    Please help!

Regular freezing and BSOD on Windows 10 - intelppm.sys seems to be the cause

    Hello Jason,

The WinDBG analysis of your dump file seems to suggest your Hardware RAM is faulty.

But as you have already checked this and given that there was also some Network activity going on and a problem with your Intel Wireless Network driver I would also update this or roll back to an earlier driver.
