  1. Windows 10 BSODs, MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION, Kernel-Power, ID: 41, Task: 63

Ever since I got my new PC about half a year ago, I've been experiencing these BSODs irregularly. Sometimes it crashes once a day for several days, sometimes it goes a week or two with no crashes, and today it's crashed three times in a single day.

In Event Viewer, the latest crash log is as follows:

"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

A program called WhoCrashed that analyzes crashes has some more info, and also seems to think "hal.dll" is the culprit, although at this rate I'm beginning to think it's likely an issue with the processor itself, which would be a shame.

I also have several .dmp files but I don't see a way to attach files onto a post. Does anyone have any suggestions for potential fixes? I'd like to try anything I can before having to replace any hardware. I can provide more information if needed as well.

    :)
