Windows 10: Windows 10 Build 10240 won't upgrade.

I have a windows 10 version 10.0 (10240) build that won't upgrade. I wanted to use the .NET framework 4.7.2 which wouldn't install due to the operating system not being supported. I have then tried the online assistant, the media creation tool to upgrade and to create and install from a USB. I have also tried resetting the windows update components. All have ended in the same, the tools don't support upgrading the operating system.


I can not find any other options so far to try. Can anyone help point me in the right direction please?

use the key you need for the build and run those lines in cmd to activate

I suggest running those commands as administrator. Just in case.

Windows 10 app won´t run, build 10240

Hi

I upgraded to windows 10, build 10240, just to found out that i can´t make any app run, not setting, not IE, not movies, nothing, I get the window "Element not found", my computer is a Lenovo. Any fix???

Build 10240 now available for Windows Insiders in Fast and Slow rings, Make sure you are logging in with Microsoft account to in order to receive the build 10240.

I suggest you to reboot the device and check if it finds Build 10240.

You may try to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if Build 10240 is available. Follow these steps to run Windows Update
troubleshooter:

• 
  Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
