    Windows 10 Build 2004 Blue Crash when Cam is turned on


    Hi Everyone,
    I've updated my Windows 10 to Build 2004 yesterday & encountered some issues till now:

    1. Windows crashes & Blue Screen shows up once cam is turned on Skype or other App.
    2. Power Saver doesn't turn on when selecting from Side Bar, I've to press Battery Icon & select suitable Power Mode.


    I did a Fresh Installation for same Build, yet issues still exist.

    My Laptop is HP EliteBook Folio 9470m & I'm using latest Windows Update.

    How to turn on Web cam in Windows 10?

    Hi Sheila,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community and being a part of Windows 10.

    I understand your concern about accessing the web cam on your device. Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

    Follow the below steps to turn on the web cam and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key, click on Settings from the left pane.
    • Click on Privacy.
    • Choose Camera, and turn off or on Let apps use my camera.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    How to turn on Web cam in Windows 10?

    I did NOT find this helpful.. I have a Genius webcam and Logitech integral headphones/microphone which worked perfectly well under previous operating systems. Yet Windows 10 can not even suss where they are..

    The above is already in place..
