Windows 10: Windows 10 Camera App

I Have an Issue with a video that I recorded with the Windows 10 Camera app. The video only works if I skip. If I let it play then the picture freezes. Also realized that the frame rate on that video is slower is there anything that I can do to get that video to work ? Its a video that I really need for my business. Usually when a video actually freezes all the way it doesn't do the playback that way

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

 

WINDOWS 10 CAMERA APP NOT WORKING

If you are referring to the Camera app then, I suggest you to uninstall the apps which came inbuilt with Windows 10 using Windows Powershell and reinstall using Windows Store. Follow the below steps:

• Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the
  search bar.
• Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to reinstall the Camera app.
  

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.WindowsCamera* | remove-appxpackage



After performing the above steps, install the Camera app form the Windows Store.

Suggest you to try with the below mentioned troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Run built in Windows Store Apps troubleshooter

* Press Windows Key then type ‘troubleshoot’ and select the same from the list

* Select “View all” on the left panel and run “Windows Store Apps” troubleshooter from the list

* Click Advanced, ensure to check Apply repairs automatically
and also select Run as administrator

* Click Next and finish the troubleshooting by following the on-screen instructions.
