  1. Windows 10 cannot boot after delete Linux

Hello. I just deleted linux in order to free some space on my desktop note that I installed linux after windows to tried it out, so it is a dual boot Windows/linux. Everything worked fine after that. But when I turned on my desktop this morning and it said operating system not found. I’m kinda surprised since my desktop worked fine just the night before. How to fix this error? I have watched some tutorials online about fixing MBR but none work. I really cannot reinstall windows now because there are some important project I am currently working on now it directly affect my job and that project still in drive C. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance!

    :)

  2. topgundcp Win User

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name

    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

  3. Windows 10 Installer deletes linux partition

I have a Ubuntu and windows dual-boot and while upgrading to widows 10 during one of the restarts grub wouldn't boot a partition and went into recovery so I used a Ubuntu live CD and GParted informed
me that my linux partition was missing. It was listed as un-allocated. This means that the Windows 10 installer deleted that partition. (The helpdesk told me to post it here)
