    Windows 10 Cannot run "microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0" Error


    Hi everybody,

    I am using Windows 10 Home, when I run the application.
    The application just show me "microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine"
    Anyone know How can I fix it?

    I already install Microsoft AccessDatabaseEngine and Microsoft Access 2013 Runtime.

    Update (KB4041676)

    update (KB4041676) casuses error ( Unexpected error from external database driver(1) ) from the following statements

    Builder.Provider = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"

    Builder.Add("Extended Properties",
    String.Format("Excel 8.0;IMEX={0};HDR=No;",
    IMEX))

    that is used in my program to convert from .xls to .cvs format.

    sawatdee krap,

    maybe because you havent set any connections for "home media". i think it needs to connect with your computer. you also need to install SimpleCenter's Home Media Server software on your PC

    Windows 10 Cannot run "microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0" Error

    Microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0 wont work on 64bit machine (its for 32bit), use Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 instead
