Windows 10: Windows 10 Can't open half of my apps

When I tried to open my pictures with the photo app my PC tells me, "the device, the path or the file that you want to call up cannot be called up." and" Maybe you do not have the Rights to open the Picture ".

But I am the Admin and after reading other post I made sure I am also the owner of all these files and the whole path.

After trying around I found out that Photos and paint 3d do not work, but I can open the pics with paint.

The same problem happens when I try to open a PDF File with the "PDF Reader" App, but I can still open them with the"Adobe Reader Touch".


Additionally I noticed that I can no longer open my Windows E-Mail App and the Microsoft store App, they open up and close down nearly instantly.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.

  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.
