Windows 10: Windows 10 Chronic Crashing and Lag Issues

So, in the last few days to a week I've noticed in the last few recent updates a particular program called Desktop Window Manager eventually eats up all my memory out of nowhere. It takes 30 minutes for it to calm down. It slows my entire PC down and I've experienced 2 crashes basically where I had to hard restart. I did uninstall an update called KB5001330. I had a friend tell me that uninstalling that update would help and it did for a little now it's twice as bad if not well worse. I do have a DxDiag that I got while tying this up. I just don't know how to attach to this post. I never

Random lag spikes

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
