Windows 10: Windows 10 Clipboard History Not Functioning

In my computer Windows 10 Clipboard doesn't work. When I press Windows Key+V Key, nothing happens, the clipboard panel doesn't appear. I tried with a new user account in the same PC, initially it shows up, but once I sign in and migrate all my apps and files, somewhere somehow at some point the clipboard history window stop showing up. I reinstalled Windows and tried, again initially it works, but once I set up my accounts and apps, at some point it stops working. I double checked my clipboard settings and clipboard history and sync is turned on. What could be the issue?

Hello,

In Windows 10 build 17666 or later, clipboard is available.

Try these steps

1. Right click Start Button or press Windows + X keys and select Settings.

2. In the Settings app, navigate to System > Clipboard.

3. Under Clipboard, toggle the Save multiple items option to On. This should enable clipboard history on the go.

4. Close Settings app.

You can now press Windows + V keys to view clipboard history.

Windows Systems do not save the clipboard history. There is only one item stored in the clipboard. If you copy something new the previous clipboard contents is overwritten and lost forever. To get the full microsoft clipboard history you need to use third-party
utilities.

Why do you need clipboard manager? What can you do with the microsoft clipboard history?

-Quickly copy data back to the clipboard.

-Paste any clip from the history directly to the selected application.

-Search for the necessary clip by its contents.

-Find out what program the data was copied from.

-Delete clips.
