Windows 10: Windows 10 complete ****

I have upgraded to 1903 only to discover that my network icon disappeared and I can't forget the network to provide new network setting for the connection. Honestly speaking if you Microsoft cared more about customers and less about the revenue from services and cloud it would serve you better in the long turn.


Idea of having one operating system to support copied from Apple however tempting is not working for your customers. Nightmarish updates does not make satisfaction going up. One day when alternative comes, you will wake up with 10% of customer base (to old to move). Judging from my experience I should never move from Win7.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
