    Windows 10 Computer Crashed

I got my Windows 10 Dell Desktop computer 2 years ago and from the first time I used it it had a glitch. It would freeze from time to time and I would have to restart the computer, sometimes up to 5 times in a row, to get it to stop freezing.

Yesterday after I turned on my computer it froze again, however this time when I restarted it, it did something it had never done before.

It restarted normally at first (Figure 1),

    Figure 1

went through it's usual Repair and Diagnosing, (Figure 2 & Figure 3),

and showed the Restart page as it sometimes does (Figure 4).

    Figure 4

I pressed Reset and it went into it's Scan and Repair (Figure 5).

But then instead of showing the desktop like it usually does, it showed a bunch of lines jigging across the screen (Figure 6).

The lines remained on the screen for about 10-15 seconds before the computer restarted by itself (Figure 7, Figure 8 & Figure 9).

If I click Restart my computer goes through the whole thing all over again, only to end up back at the Restart screen.
I can't access anything on my computer and end up just having to shut it down.

I hope that there is something I can do to save my computer as all my important files are stored on it.

This computer does not have an available Internet connection. I have to use Public Wifi to access the Internet.

    :)

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
