  1. Windows 10 Computer Host does not appear on the Network.

    Hi

With win 7 no longer being supported, I have "succumbed" to attempting the dread windows 10 pro. My current issue is that I can "see" 2 other computers on my network, BUT NOT the laptop I am working from. Nor can this my machine be "seen" from the other 2!.

The whole system works perfectly on windows 7pro and Home I have it on Dual boot. Unless or until this is resolved I am FORCED to continue using 7. As i have need to access ALL the machines on the network.

I note that win 10 has changed the Computer name from P****D** to DESKTOP-XXXXXXX. ? this has happened during the Install I assume? But there appears to be no manner by which to change it?.

    Pete
