Windows 10: Windows 10 constant ping spikes every 10 seconds.

So, I've been having this problem ever since one of my brothers got his new desktop lately and started to download a lot of stuff games on his new pc. I don't know if it's a coincidence but before he got his new PC, my wifi was working totally fine without any problems. My other brother also told me that he started getting random ping spikes at the exact same time period as me. The day my brother started to download a bunch of stuff, that's when the wifi started to drop consistently. He finished his downloads a while ago, yet I and my other brother's wifi still get ping spikes every 10 seconds and it's getting pretty annoying. I tried most of the solutions that I found on the forum or other websites but it didn't work. I tried updating my wifi driver, tried resetting my network, changing the power management settings of the adapter, resetting the router, using a wifi extender, so on and so forth. All of my families are having the same issue right now and we just can't get to fix it. Is there any way that my brother's downloads from approximately 2 weeks ago, is still causing us packet loss on our wifi? If you have any solutions or similar problem as me, please let me know. Getting huge ping spikes every 10-ish seconds

Hello all,
Im having a rather frustrating issue; my ping makes massive jumps every 10 to 15 seconds for about 2 seconds, then drops back to normal. I just recently had to switch to wireless, and thought it was just a result of wifi, then out of curiosity I plugged the adapter into my brothers laptop and was seeing no spikes on it. Ive been running ping tests in cmd, I've run antivirus and ccleaner multiple times, and gone through and disabled or uninstalled pretty much every program I could think of that would be causing the issue. Still ping spikes. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

 

Ping Spikes

Recently, I have discovered that I am receiving ping spikes from 200-1000 every 10 seconds or so when playing games, causing me to rubberband. However, I usually receive around 20ms in between ping spike intervals. I am using an ethernet cable that is connected
'Wi-fi Booster', which is connected to my router downstairs. I have tried multiple solutions in an attempt to fix this issue such as:

• Checking if my network adapters are outdated
• Troubleshooting my network adapters
• Changing my default DNS server to 1.1.1.1 (gives lower ping than 8.8.8.8)
• Disabling the feature where my PC would usually download updates from other computers
• Disabling OneDrive sync in Policy Group Editor
