Windows 10 constanty tries to rename everything .. but why?

    Hi ..

Ive got a swift 5 reasonably new laptop, with windows 10 build 1909 18363.959 this problem recently manifested and despite various attempts to fix it, by resetting explorer. I can't seem to resolve the issue.

What happens is when I click on a folder or any type of file, it goes blue as if it wants to be renamed and then I can't click on the icon. (now this doesn't necessarily happen straight away it seems to happen randomly but has never happened before).

I even tried setting files folders to open on a single click instead of double but the problem is still there, ive also tried all those dos commands online to reset explorer as well as options in explorer itself.

What is causing this renaming issue and what can I about it. Is this happening to lots of people or not?

Also it keeps saying i need administrator access to rename the file though i am an adminstrator of course

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

Windows 10 constanty tries to rename everything .. but why? wie1.png

Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
