Windows 10: Windows 10 Desktop Toolbar View

Hello,


I've added the Desktop toolbar on my taskbar for Windows 10. Each time I open an item from my desktop the order of the items in the toolbar change. My documents are constantly shifting when I use the toolbar and I don't know how to keep them in one place or just have them alphabetized as a default view. The documents on my actual desktop don't move so it's just the toolbar view that does this. Has anyone run into this problem and how did you resolve it?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Where is my File, Edit, View toolbar in Windows 10

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

The default web browser that you have is Edge, which doesn't support toolbars or edit options.

You can use the above options with Internet Explorer.

To access Internet Explore follow the below step:

• From the desktop press Windows flag key +R and type iexplore and click ok.
• This will open internet Explorer.

Desktop Toolbar - Registry Hacking?

I use Quick Launch Toolbar rather than Desktop Toolbar. You may add or subtract icons as you please; for example, the Recycle Bin.
