    Everything else is pretty well a moot point for home users but HW drivers updates must be controllable by default and only availability of them to be shown. Automatic roll back of drivers in situations when they prevent booting or display should also be provided specially if MS insists on automatic updates of drivers. Many examples exist in this and other forums when wrong drivers caused a boot loop or black screen.

    Totally agree, driver updates should not be mandatory. If anything is going to hose your system, its a bad driver update.
