    Windows 10 Device Manager - Just in Time Authentication


    In the process of setting up my new Windows 10 PC I encountered a dialog box asking if I wanted to enable Just in Time Authentication for memory sticks plugged into the USB ports. This seemed like a good idea at the time but after a few days use I find it extremely annoying to keep having to enter my password every 15 minutes in order to maintain access to the USB drive.


    Is there a way to turn this feature off?

    Windows 10 Device Manager - Just in Time Authentication

    No DVD-R drive in device manager or This PC after upgrading to Windows


    Hi,

    I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a few weeks ago and since that time I don't have a DVD – R drive. I still have my DVD – RW, but the other drive is missing from the device manager and the computer list. What happened to it? What steps can I take to recover it.
