Windows 10: Windows 10 downgrade after reinstall the system

So I purchased an upgrade key and upgraded my windows 10 home to pro using that key. I wanted to have a clean/fresh windows so I did reinstall the system using a USB. After reinstalling the system, my windows 10 downgraded itself to windows home. I was able to use the exact same key that I used to upgrade before to upgrade my system and it worked. After upgrading, when I use the command "wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey", it showed me a different key than the one I used for upgrading!I just don't understand first why reinstall the system would downgrade my w

I would try these:

• Get your Windows 7 media device and reinstall Windows
• Try auto-repair
• Follow these steps:

1. Put in your Windows 10 media device, boot into the USB
2. Select your language and keyboard input, then click next.
3. Click "Repair this computer"
4. Go to "Advanced options"
5. click system restore
6. Select a restore point before you downgraded to Windows 7.

[Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops!
