Windows 10: windows 10 downgrade to 8.1

I am currently using an Acer Aspire V5-571 PG laptop model MS2361


I have upgraded it to windows10 awhile back, past the trial period, however I am now experiencing issues with trying to update my NVidia optimus graphics due to 'this NVIDIA graphic driver is not compatible this version of windows. this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware'

Due to this, and the possibility that windows 10 is simply not compatible with my computer I am unable to upgrade my graphics, which after a recent reset attempt have disappeared entirely! I do not have the quick option of returning to windows 8.1, I also am not sure where to find my product key for windows but need to reset my computer back to windows8.1 in order for it to be functioning correctly

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

 

Downgrading to Windows 8.1

Unable to downgrade windows 10 home to windows 8.1 home


Hi,

Was trying to downgrade my win 10 to win 8.1 using the setting -> recovery -> Go back windows 8.1 . The steps were smooth and the system proceeded to reboot. But after rebooting, it stills goes back to windows 10. Tried 3 times and still the same.

FYI, The windows.old folder is still there.

Does anyone had the same issue?
