    Hi everyone,


    I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows 10 Home version. I was moving some files from my laptop to my external drive when my screen started glitching out, going all static-y. This was the second occurrence of the day, the first one ending in the aforementioned BSOD. As soon as my screen started glitching out, I hit the power button, hoping the laptop would go to sleep instantly, but unfortunately that didn't happen. What did happen was the screen went dark for a moment, then lit up again all glitchy. Through the glitchy screen, I could see the BSOD in the background. My laptop started heating up at this moment, so I hit the power button, to no effect. All of a sudden, the screen went dark and the laptop shut down. I waited for a few moments, then powered it up. It powers up, but the screen stays dark. I have absolutely no idea what to do in this situation. I'd be very glad if someone could help me out.

    Error BSOD DPC Watchdog Violation on Windows 10

    Windows 10 installed on laptop gets DPC Watchdog Violations every few minutes creating a BSOD and reboots. It is not a game machine. What are some of the causes and what can be done?
