    Windows 10 Drive Error


    So this is happening -1 On startup, windows always goes into "chkdsk" even though I have not given the command for it. It gives the countdown to cancel it and then after the countdown, it says scanning and then automatically cancels it. I have seen how it is supposed to work but what is happening with my PC is different. It does not show any percentage on how much is done and as I said, automatically cancels it after scanning it for 1 second.2 I ran chkdsk to find error and this is what I got - "Windows has checked the file system and found problems. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
