  3. Activation of Outlook E-Mail Program

I followed all the steps in the 'Settings' for Outlook e-mail, starting with the procedure for enabling the POP function. I pressed the 'OK' button, and the site returned me to the 'Accounts Listed' page, where the new acct. I was trying to create, once
again, did not appear. Subsequent test messages that I produced, and sent, were again received by my other two e-mail programs, but NOT by the Outlook e-mail site.

  4. Windows 10 E-mail program

What e-mail programs will Windows 10 recognize?

    No help.

No matter what I set as default. I am informed that:

"That no e-mail program is associated to perform the associated action. Please install an e-mail program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs Control program."

I have tried different mail programs and have changed the Default Programs Control program many times. I can find nothing that will work with the Windows 10 program.

I do not intend to buy another program from Microsoft that does not work and do not want to gamble on a program that not only is flawed but has no meaningful help except from anyone but hackers.
