Windows 10: Windows 10 Elan touchpad Broken

Hello any anybody that will see this.


I currently have a problem on my Aspire E15 where I cannot use my touch pad completely.

I have tried to find it in Device Manager under MOUSE AND POINTERS but could not find it. I also tried to use the control panel which was also unsuccessful. If anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know. I have a windows 10 operating system. I also have tried various Fn commands to try and bring it back online (it=touch pad) .

When i go to mouse/pointer properties i can see this in the ELAN section, i see the touch pad but it shows no ability to do anything to it. There is a photo down below:

ELAN Driver for touchpad -Windows 10

After upgrading to Windows 10 my ELAN touchpad driver has all but disappeared. This means I cannot remove tap to click feature amongst others. Can anybody suggest a way forward ?

 

Elan Touchpad Driver 15.8.4.3_X64_WHQL update on Windows 10 disappeared.

my asus laptop informed me to wait until my Elan Touchpad Driver finished updating, when it was done it then told me to restart then there was nothing. Previous to my update of Windows 10 (8.1) I had preinstalled Asus smart gesture bundled software that
controlled my touchpad. After Windows 10 installed I had Elan touchpad installed and it was working fine in fact I really liked using it now I have only basic control of the touchpad and the driver although says its in programs add and remove has no size reading
suggesting its not installed. I followed the link to the Elan site and it says that Elan is not compatible with Windows 10, now my asus controls don't work I'm left without any controls for my touchpad, is there anything I can do or any other touchpad software
I can install that will work with Windows 10 ? help I want my touchpad back and with the Elan controls

 

Touchpad driver issue after Windows 10 Upgrade.

Original title : Touchpad Driver.

My Touchpad has stopped working after installing windows10. The touchpad driver is not listed under device manager but I have installed the ELAN touchpad for windows 10 that I downloaded from my device Manufacturer's website. I am using a Packard Bell EasyNote
EN TG71MB. Even under Programs and Features the ELAN Touchpad driver is not listed. Any suggestion please???
