Windows 10: Windows 10 Enterprise after update on old laptop; had Windows 2007 when bought

I am having problem with Windows Activation. My computer says I have Windows 10 Enterprise after I did an update. The screen always shows "Activate Windows". BackgroundMy Acer laptop purchased in 2011, had Windows 2007 preinstalled. I used it for several years and from time to time it had small issues. Most importantly I changed the back cover of the laptop long time back and whatever information about the product that usually gets sticked on to it is not there, I don't have it anymore. Anyway about 2 years back or so the laptop had some issues, and I gave it or repair. They installed windows

I can't get update KB3035583 on my windows 7 SP1 laptop, also I was missing the optional language packs updates, I have tried "resetting" windows updates http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/91738-windows-update-reset.html and I have tried stopping and restarting the windows update service, did not help.
Would anyone have a suggestion on how to get this KB3035583 update? It's genuine windows 7 SP1 home premium.

Edit: Is this windows 10 upgrade only for people who bought (a computer with) windows 7 SP 1?

windows 10 enterprise updates not installing on private laptop


I bought a HP laptop via the internet and it came with windows 10 enterprise (no idea why) The problem with enterprise is that it will not install any updates, it keeps telling me to contact the system manager. If there is a solution for that I can keep the enterprise version. Any suggestions?
Otherwise I would like to downgrade to Windows 10 professional or home. What are the options for that?
