Windows 10: Windows 10 Enterprise Retail in S mode

To Whom it May Concern,

**** is Microsoft up to? I built a PC, purchased your operating system for that PC, and now Microsoft has this "S" mode which won't even allow me to install third party software even if I want to? And when I read the "S" Mode faq, it even says that if I take my pc out of "S" Mode, I will only be able to run 32-bit software, not 64-bit software?


Can you please explain to me what gives you the right to tell me what I can run on my PC?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
