Windows 10: Windows 10 error

My computer has 16GB of ram installed although it only says it is using 8GB. So I went into the RAM settings and tried to set maximum available RAM to 16384MB (16GB) bet everytime I would press accept it would go to 0. So I restarted the PC to save changes, after that the windows logo would pop up for a long time and then go to the blue scree of death. Im assuming the computer isn’t allowed to use any of the RAM because it we staying on 0MB. Now every time I try to boot windows in normal mode it gives me the “your pc ran into a problem” bs. Is there a way to change the maximum amount of usable RAM through cmd or through BIOS?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
