Windows 10 .exe files problems please HELP!

I have Windows 10 installed ever since it 2years. As windows 10 is known for, I used to get errors on weekly basis but I used to fix them watching internet. Everything was working fine except for a week ago when all of my .exe files refused to work!

The problem began when 9-10 days ago, I switched on my PC. It started just fine but during the welcome screen instead of the GUI it gave me a command box where it was like Welcome FireFlymy username is FireFly

When I tried to open some of my programs external not installed with windows, I got 2 types of error:

1 This app cant run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher

I need to say this- this app was working absolutely fine up until the errors started showing days ago and they are very well known app, like Bandicam Screen recorder, After effects etc.

2 this error appeared from a different .exe programpossibly 32bit apps--- >

ShellExecuteEx failed; code 193. %1 is not a valid Win32 app.

I cant even open my installers, cant open settings, search, windows button, screenshot, regedit and not even the Win10 iso file which I hoped was my last resort. So I cant even reset my PC. All I have is some appswhich I think don't need admin privileging to run and the Win+R Run dialog.

I cant even create a new admin account, if I try to do so I get explorer.exe class not registered error.

It is very frustrated as I have searched the internet and this forum for solutions but in vain. I have tried the sfc process- the scan did report issue and said it fixed them but in reality it did nothing

I think I need a Microsoft expert troubleshooter in this thing because, the solutions are nowhere in the internet, so I think elite geeks don't know its fix. Don't tell me to run sfc scan with explrer on/off, internet on/off as I have tried all the solutions

Please grant me a solution that works. I have not downloaded anything recently or made any changes anywhere that would disrupt the .exe processes and I am in trouble because this is my only PC and I have to do my work here. Thanks.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
