  1. Windows 10 - "Extract All" option does not appear in menu, cannot select Windows Explorer...

Had Winzip universal trial version installed, which appeared to be a problem getting the default Windows zip extraction to work, and after a long and bitter fight, finally got it uninstalled-- I think-- it did a great job of hiding the first time around. However, this failed to return my "Extract All" option.

No valid applications show up when I attempt to designate a default program or choose and application to open. There appears to be no way I can select Windows or Windows Explorer.

There have been various threads on these sorts of problems but I've failed to find a) one that actually solves my problem or b) is not locked. So I'm now adding to the general clutter of the internet with a question I'm sure has been answered before.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Windows 10 download speed issues

    Try this method:
    • First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
    • locate and select “Update and Security“.
    • in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
    • In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
    • Turn off Updates from more than one place.
Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

Windows 10 - "Extract All" option does not appear in menu, cannot select Windows Explorer...

Feature suggestions - move to proper menus, add Options window

    Suggestions:
    1) Remove main menus from top left menu (system menu) and move them to a standard Windows menu, at the top.
Leave the 6 system menu items (Restore --- Close) in system menu, move all the rest to that standard main menu. The main menu can be auto-hidable - pressing Alt key to invoke it or hide it, similar to the way IE11 menus and many Windows 10 built-in apps' menus work.

    2) And/or, add an Options menu or button, which would invoke a separate screen with GPU-Z Options, similar to how most Windows apps work.
Most Windows apps have a separate Options screen, which GPU-Z lacks - one should be added.

    Thanks in advance for listening!
