Windows 10: Windows 10, extremely broken

Hey all. Listen. WIndows 10, it hates me. Apparently it hates everyone. Here's my issue-


My updates won't download.

-I've tried DISM, Powershell, Stealth Admin, New Account NO buttons work...start menu, etc., SFC SCAN. Restarting services. Media Creation tool app won't run on this pc, see later

NOTHING works.


My restarts do NOT apply changes.

-My uninstalled programs keep returning.

-Reset PC, same effect.

-USB re image, same effect.

-Deleted recycle bin contents also return


"This app can't run on your pc"

-64 bit apps. I know my system is 64bit, they still won't run. I've disabled defender and smartscreen. No 3rd party AV. Nothing works.


I'm on version 1909 btw. all these issues have created an infinite loop of my pc being stuck in this state. It's maddening.

First time windows 10 user btw. I should have read about it. Anyone else stuck like this?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
