Windows 10: Windows 10 failed boot BSOD after loading 2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version...

After loading update KB5005033 - the next boot failed with a BSOD, ‘page fault in non paged area’, this auto repeat booted a few times and then gave up with the recovery blue screen…I decided to choose the Recovery advanced option to restart in safe mode to see what that would do. To my surprise it booted with the ‘failed to load updates’ message and proceeded to uninstall it. It then booted fine…Unless I turn off updates it keeps loading this KB and ends up with the same BSOD…Note: this is the same type of issue I had last month, only fixed by Microsoft after waiting a month for changes to up

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240
