Windows 10: Windows 10 fails to boot after installing cumulative update 10/11/2019

i was minding my own business and getting ready for my next project in python to be finished and compile the code. i saw that a windows update was available. i sighed, saved my work and installed the update (it wouldn't take long to install because i use an SSD) however when it was coming back on, it just sat at the spinning dots and continues to do so now, i have run Dism, sfc, and dskchk, all of which said there were no issues with my install yet, when i boot it clearly tells otherwise. any ideas on what could be happening?

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

This is the biggest update W10 ever had. Lol look at the file list.
This is pretty good for those who installed Windows 10 today. Just one update that has everything, no need to install previous updates.
