Windows 10: windows 10 feature update 1903

Hi all

running windows 10 v 1803, its very stable never any issues, recently have been getting prompts to update to v 1903 due to support ending in Nov, i have downloaded the iso and installed from setup.exe, updated very smoothly no issues, problems start soon after however, pc randomly freezes in different apps no one app in particular, at first i though it was just the mouse but nothing works, i have to shut down with the power button, i have gone back to version 1803 and no problems as stable as ever, i have run the update several times and the same issues and each time i have gone back to v 1803, i have tried all the fixes that are recommended out there including updating drivers, file checker etc, anybody out there have any idea what the issue might be and are there still bugs in v 1903 that still have to be sorted.

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. The steps which you have undertaken to block updates won't work for any feature update. Feature updates need to be blocked temporarily by using different steps.

But, I will suggest that you should not try to stop 1903 feature update. Let it happen.

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
