    Windows 10 feature update 2004 failing to install


    hey all, I am trying to install the windows 10 feature update 2004 for a few months now. It keeps failing at 85% installation with error code 0x80070002 every time. I have tried manual installation through the update toolkit, I have cleared the temporary files alongwith the software updates hoping that there was something messy with the files, stopped the windows update service and deleted download and data store files within the software distribution folder, ran the troubleshooterwhich has never ever worked for literally any problem I ever had in the past 15 years, ran sfc/scannow through cmd which showed no errors after the scan.


    So has anyone found a concrete solution to this problem because I've seen nearly a dozen blogs regarding this and everyone only has the above mentioned solutions which apparently don't work.

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
