    Windows 10 Firewall Priority


    I have an issue with an application that sets up rules in the firewall.
    The problem is that it sets up rules every time it is run. I want to set one of the inbound and outbound rules to block access on a Public network, the problem is that the application just changes the rule back again when it powers up. So my question is, if I create a second rule that blocks access, which will Windows do? Allow or block?

    The command in step 2 of Option Two should show your wireless networks listed in priority order. Top of the list is higher.

    Can Windows Firewall block outgoing connections yet? If not, it's one step above useless.

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
