Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes up and I have to reboot

I am confused myself for one if this is an ISO file but why is the icon showing as a CD ROM Drive to the left. Did you make a disc or is it a ISO file you mounted in Windows Explorer ? Where is this ISO file located on disc or external USB drive ?
Your PC shows you have SuperMulti DVD Burner Optical drive. So i wonder where is this CD Drive coming from even if on a disc should not show this way ? Then of course if on a disc you will use eject on the drive itself.

WOW! You have an "M" drive and an "N" drive! LOL! I have never seen so many drives before.

The last time I spoke with HP I mentioned this cd/dvd drive with the iso but it sort of fell by the wayside among the other things. I will have to contact them again so someone can see this and tell me what to do with it.

My computer froze up a couple of days ago too. I am wondering now if it might have something to do with the RAM.

 

You know out of 75 posts and mine being 76 we have went through stuff for these freezes it was a hardship getting the drivers from HP which was one step. There was many other steps mentioned for me to backtrack on every post, our thoughts was a inplace repair install, so obviously the drivers did not help. You can read back on the post for many reasons to cause this, hardware, drivers and software.
You downloaded the ISO, i am still not sure if your mounting the file on a virtual drive or you copied it to a CD/DVD disk, but why it shows as a CD Drive is beyond me.

The M: drive is my USB External Hard Drive, the N: drive is a mounted ISO file from the M: USB External Drive.
I was showing you this as an example of what i thought you were showing me and how it should look to mount the ISO File, if that is what you did or not, that was the mystery here. You had trouble ejecting.

Drives C: - F: are SSD's, G: is a HDD and the rest of the drives I: - L: are from my USB 3.0 Card Reader ( chose to show these rather then hide them, notice they are shaded).

Need to explain more on what exactly you are doing with this ISO file. Reasons you downloaded it was to try other troubleshooting options, inplace Repair upgrade. Other choses would be to then start testing hardware if do not want to do any other troubleshooting, safe mode for one.
